المدينة كالشعر، أبياتها شوارع ،أزقة، مباني وبشر..مليئة بالقصص. حتى في سراديبها الخفية..تدور المدينة في حلقة مغلقة من النهار و الليل، لكن، ماذا هناك في الناحية الأخرى من هذه خارج هذه الحلقة ؟ الناحية الخيالية داخل عقولنا التي لا يعرف عنها أحد شيئًا كأنها أحلامنا..مليئة بالتفاصيل العظيمة الغير مبررة متداخلة بانسجام في عالم مليء بالغرابة غير متوقع. نحن نعيش في عصر من السيريالية ، عالم غير متوقع مليئ بالأحداث الغريبة الغير متوقعة نواجهه يوميًا.

هل لديك قصة عن سريالية المدينة الخاصة بك ؟ المدينة التي تنتمي لها في خيالك ؟ و تشعر بها في قلبك ؟ شاركنا هذا العالم بكل تفاصيله الغريبة ليكون جزء من المعرض البصري " سريالية المدينة" المقام ضمن أسبوع القاهرة للصورة ٢٠٢٣ في فبراير القادم!

إذا كان مشروعك موافي للشروط الآتية لا تتردد في إرسالها :

ارشادات وشروط :

- يجب أن يكون المشروع مكتمل

-يجب أن يكون تاريخ انتاجه من عام ٢٠١٩ حتى ٢٠٢٢

-يجب أن تكون مدته من ٥ لي ١٠ دقائق

- يمكن للمتقدم المشاركة بعمل واحد

-يجب ألا يكون الفيلم متاح للعامة على مواقع المشاهدة الإلكترونية

( YouTube,Vimeo,etc)

- أي أعمال بها مواد منطوقة أو حكى بلغات غير العربية أو الإنجليزية يجب أن تحتوى على ترجمة بإحدى اللغتين.

- الأفلام الوثائقية، والروائية والأفلام التجارية مستبعدة.

- يجب إرفاق ٣ صور مختلفة من العمل بجودة عالية.

-ستقوم اللجنة المنظمة بدورها باختيار الأعمال المشاركة.

- يتم التنويه عن الأعمال المشاركة في يناير ٢٠٢٣ عن طريق البريد الالكتروني.

- بالتسجيل من خلال الاستمارة التقدم يكون بذلك قد وافقتم على بنود وشروط المشاركة في النسخة الأولى من سريالية المدينة، وأن المشارك يحتفظ بجميع الحقوق للمواد المقدمة أو لديه تفويض من صاحب العمل بإرسال المواد المشاركة.

- الأعمال التي ترسل دون ملأ استمارة الإشتراك أو إرسالها بالبريد لن تؤخذ فى الاعتبار.

كيفية الإشتراك :

- قم بملء الاستمارة الالكترونية (الإستمارة الإلكترونية بأسفل الصفحة)

-يستلزم رفع ملفات الفيديو والصور وملفات الترجمة (إن وجدت) المرفقة على google drive أو أي مواقع مشابهة ممتدة الصلاحية للاستخدام والتحميل. ويستلزم رفع الملفات عمل حساب على الموقع، برجاء نسخ رابط التحميل داخل المساحة المخصصة داخل استمارة الإشتراك (ننصح بالانتهاء من عملية الرفع قبل البدء فى ملء بيانات الاستمارة). ملفات الفيديو يجب أن تكون نسخة للعرض، ويجب إرسالها بأعلى جودة (H.264).

Surreal City - Open Call for video artists, videographers & Filmmakers.

The city is a poem filled with streets and sewers, buildings and people, stories everywhere seen and unseen, day and night the city wakes up and goes to sleep going through an endless cycle of life as we know it but what is the other side of a city? the bizarre side that lives inside our imagination like a strange dream that no one sees but us, that no one feels but us, in all its glory and inexplicable details combined in an eccentric way that no one would ever expect. We are living in a surreal era within surreal contexts, being it our daily mundane lives or the bizarre circumstances we face from time to time.

Tell us the story of the city you see with your eyes ,the city you feel within your heart , that is imprinted in your mind , with all it’s visual layers , the city inside of you, your own SURREAL CITY.

This is an open call for videographers, Filmmakers and Video artists

We are interested in video art and experimental films in any moving image formats: video, or multi-media ,mixed media that has lens based components Etc.

Guidelines and conditions

-The Project has to be Complete

-The duration of the project should be between (5 -10 min)

-The work should be produced between 2019 and 2022

-The video project should not be available to the public on any video platform such as (youtube, Vimeo, etc)

-Feature films, documentary or commercial videos are NOT accepted.

-The number of entries by one author is limited to one submission.

-Attach 3 high resolution video stills .

-The Jury committee will make the selection of the 1st edition of the exhibition.

-All applicants will be notified of the status of their application via email by early january 2023.

-Videos with narration in languages other than English and Arabic should have English or Arabic subtitles.

-Applicants must submit through the registration form.

- The Registration through the form designates the acceptance of the terms and conditions of participation in the 1st edition of Surreal City, and a declaration that the applicant holds all rights to the submitted material or has the permission of the legal owner of the rights to the submitted material (pictures, sounds, texts).

-Any submission that is not submitted through the registration link will not be accepted.

Online Submissions :

-Video files and stills should be uploaded to Google Drive (or other similar websites with no expiry date for downloading files).

-Your videos must be submitted as only screening copies in the best available quality (H.264 or H.265 video format).

-Fill in the Registration form below and copy then paste the download link inside the online application form (we advise you to start the upload online process before you proceed with filling in the application form).
